MARY EDDY’S DINING ROOM

Working with architect, ADG | Blatt Architects (formerly Blatt Architects) and interior designer, Sees Design, LuM Lighting Design created the lighting design update to the restaurant and bar for the chic boutique Hotel 21C in the historic 1916 former Ford Motor Company Assembly plant.

Working to preserve the rough concrete columns and ceiling, the lighting was suspended to avoid direct touch to historic elements. For new construction elements, the lighting is architecturally integrated. Vintage decorative chandeliers anchor cozy banquettes, community table, private dining room and lounge while track mounted spots add drama and pop to the tabletops.  Pre-set dimming scenes are used for morning, twilight and evening events.
