LuM Lighting Design worked with Panama-based Grupo Roble and Dallas-based WaterMark Design Studio on the design of a new Hotel Courtyard Real Marriott in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Currently under construction, this 161 room hotel is located in the desirable Piantini Sector of the capital city. The Hotel Courtyard Real is adjacent to the Real Intercontinental Hotel and Roble Corporate Center, strengthening its presence in the business center of the Dominican capital. The hotel has 15,000 SF of extensive event venue space, ballrooms, conferencing space, restaurant, bar, lounge and rooftop pool terrace. Unique lighting elements coincide with architectural and interior features throughout the building. A fully automated pre-set dimming system allows for timeclock directed ambience with override keypads for local control of spaces as well.
