LuM Lighting Design worked with Dallas-based Perkins&Will (formerly Lauckgroup) to create refreshed and updated spaces for the world-renowned Cooper Aerobics: Cooper Fitness Center. Since 1970, Cooper Aerobics has developed as the most reputable wellness research facility in the world. Sited on a beautiful 50-acre campus in Dallas, LuM was delighted to be a part of the Design Team for this impactful (!) project.

The Design Team created a new restaurant, Cedars’ Woodfire Grill, updated The Coop, the facility’s retail outlet, as well as full renovation of wellness studios, fitness areas, men’s and women’s locker rooms and the Cooper Day Spa. Lighting concepts supported the architectural design and were fully integrated and seamless. Concealed and dimmable sources allow for a variety of lighting levels in multi-use spaces such as the mind-body studios and spa treatment rooms. Elegant decorative pendants compliment the design in locker rooms while adjustable track lighting allows for flexibility in the retail zones.
