Working with the Dallas office of Perkins&Will, LuM Lighting Design created illumination solutions for the Clearfork campus of Texas Health Hospital, a new construction 4-story, 150,000 SF, 54-bed hospital and 12 surgery suites with cafe, outdoor dining, contemplative spaces, skywalk, landscape and site design. Texas Health Hospital Clearfork is a premier destination for joint care facility and part of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest.

Lighting concepts for this building included highlighting the iconic architectural “eyebrow” element of the roof which can be seen from nearby IH-30. The Design Team’s vision for the interior spaces paralleled that of a luxury hotel with lobby, conferencing and dining spaces having a high degree of welcoming ambience, both day and night. The public spaces also required the flexibility to host functions and events in the spaces. This was accomplished by taking a hospitality design approach to the lighting and with the use of pre-set automated dimming system scenes for various events.
