ELYSIAN COURT RESIDENCE
LuM Lighting Design worked with interior designer, Donna Guerra, to design the lighting for this full, down-to-the-studs renovation for a long-time client.
The rustic-transitional design was supported by lighting which accentuated the art and artifacts that the client has collected over a lifetime. Rough-hewn wood beams were illuminated by cove uplighting and stone walls were washed to bring out the rich, geologic layers.
The courtyard focal point is the chimney which is flanked by grilling prep areas requiring different illumination techniques and levels. The dining area is designed to be low-light and intimate.
