Working with Dallas-based Bernbaum/Magadini Architects, Rolnick+Gordon Interior Design and the owners, LuM Lighting Design helped the team to create a luxurious and artful residence in the Uptown Galleria Area of Houston. Walls of glass at the penthouse level facilitate an extraordinary background for highrise living. Dedicated to dazzling views through large floor-to-ceiling windows all the way around the house, the elegant artwork-infused residence becomes a jewel in the clouds. Artfully-inspired throughout contemporary interiors, with close attention to detail in all areas of architecture, finishes, furniture and artwork selection and placement, the lighting concepts were entirely focused upon accentuating those elements of the design. The master suite is a nest of relaxation and peace. The living areas feature purposeful selections of furniture and accessories illuminated carefully to appear to glow from within. A pre-set whole-house dimming system integrates with other smart-home features including audio-visual and security systems.
